SEMARNAT Reporte de las Playas - La calidad bacteriológica del mar en las playas de Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa. Greenpeace - Greenpeace is a non-profit organisation, with a presence in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific. To maintain its independence, Greenpeace does not accept donations from governments or corporations but relies on contributions from individual supporters and foundation grants. As a global organisation, Greenpeace focuses on the the most crucial worldwide threats to our planet's biodiversity and environment. - The Nature Conservancy - Our Mission: To preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. World Wildlife Fund, Mexico Program - WWF´s Mexico Program works in three ecoregions, one Target Driven Program (TDP) and two sites of special relevance. The ecoregions are: the Gulf of California, the Chihuahuan Desert and the Mesoamerican Reef. The TDP "Mexican Forests" encompasses two ecoregions, that of Dry Forests and Mexican Pine and Oak Forets. The two sites of special interest for our program are the Monarch Butterfly Reserve and the Mayan forest of Calakmul. World Game Workshops - With versions for students, community groups and corporations, bring one to your community to educate about world issues, the environment, cultural awareness and gender issues. S.O.S. Bahia organized a world game workshop in Zihuatanejo in January of 2001. |
